Balanced Wellness Featured in Lowcountry’s Best Magazine

We love celebrating the wins of our clients and this one is extra special.

Balanced Wellness, a mental health practice serving the Lowcountry, was recently recognized as one of the Top Mental Health Providers in the region. To highlight this achievement, we had the honor of designing an ad for them to be featured in the Lowcountry’s Best magazine.

Our goal with the design was to create something that felt both professional and approachable, reflecting Balanced Wellness’s mission of providing compassionate, accessible care, especially for new moms suffering from postpartum depression. The ad’s clean layout, calming colors, and clear messaging helped capture their brand voice while standing out in a publication filled with community leaders.

For us, this project was about more than creating an ad. It was about helping Balanced Wellness connect with the community they serve and celebrate the important work they do in maternal and family mental health.

We’re so proud to have partnered with Balanced Wellness on this milestone, and we can’t wait to see the impact they’ll continue to make in the Lowcountry.

Growing Community and Connection: How heartBOLD Helped the Hilton Head–Bluffton Holistic Chamber of Commerce Shine

We love partnering with organizations that are passionate about making a positive impact and the Hilton Head–Bluffton Holistic Chamber of Commerce (HCC) is no exception. Over an eight month period, we had the privilege of serving as the HCC’s Marketing Manager, helping amplify their mission and connect with more members of the Lowcountry community.

The goals of this project were to increase membership, community awareness, and engagement. The strategy we used was to promote monthly HCC meetings in local Facebook groups, which helped to attract more attendees and potential members. We also created on-brand flyers that were distributed throughout the local community to raise visibility. In addition, we created a YouTube channel for the HCC, which featured a total of nine videos, six of which were recorded, edited, and uploaded by heartBOLD.

The results were:

  1. Membership grew by 50%, with six new members joining directly from marketing initiatives
  2. Facebook followers increased by 40% and engagement by 26%
  3. A stronger, more visible presence in the local community and online

This project is a perfect example of how a strategic marketing approach can help organizations grow, connect, and thrive. We’re proud of the work we did with the Hilton Head–Bluffton Holistic Chamber of Commerce and are excited to continue helping organizations tell their stories, expand their reach, and achieve their goals!

Ad for Colleran Accounting

When Colleran Accounting needed a festive advertisement for a Christmas program, they reached out with a clear vision: include a cartoon Christmas tree that will look good when printed in black and white, a warm holiday greeting, and a reminder about the upcoming tax season.

With a quick turnaround, we delivered a design that perfectly captured the holiday spirit while keeping the focus on Colleran Accounting’s services. Our ability to execute their vision efficiently and effectively led to glowing feedback, with the client leaving a Google Review sharing, “heartBOLD always exceeds my expectations in providing excellent service.”

The success of this project led to a repeat collaboration when Colleran Accounting returned for a second ad later—proof that great design and outstanding service keep clients coming back. Looking for an ad that gets noticed? Connect with us and we’ll make it happen.

Brand Boards for Branches of Hope

A strong brand is more than just a logo—it’s a reflection of a business’s values, mission, and the community it serves. When Branches of Hope, a mental health and wellness practice, approached us for a brand board, we set out to create a visual identity that captures their compassionate and holistic approach to care.

Through thoughtful design, we crafted two cohesive brand boards that aligned with Branches of Hope’s mission to provide accessible, client-centered mental health services.

The first brand concept featured a serene aquamarine blue, symbolizing hope, while the second showcased a warm yellow, representing happiness. In the first design, the dove and olive branch were incorporated to reflect Branches of Hope’s faith-based foundation, while the incomplete circle served as a visual metaphor for life’s imperfections and the ongoing journey of growth and healing. The second concept featured graceful willow branches, a timeless symbol of resilience and hope, reinforcing the organization’s mission to provide compassionate support and guidance.

Logo for Beyond Description Farm

When Beyond Description Farm approached heartBOLD for a logo, they had a clear vision: a design that reflected the deep connection between their animals and the land they nurture. The farm owner wanted a continuous line drawing featuring their beloved animals—a duck, sheep, goose, and chicken—symbolizing the seamless, interconnected nature of their farm. Additionally, they requested individual logos for each animal, allowing for versatility in branding across different farm products and marketing materials.

Leah took this concept and crafted a logo that elegantly weaves each animal into a single, flowing line. The result? A minimalist yet deeply meaningful design that captures the essence of Beyond Description Farm’s holistic approach to sustainable farming. The organic, hand-drawn aesthetic reinforces the farm’s values of harmony, simplicity, and natural living.

At heartBOLD, we love turning stories into visuals that truly resonate. This project was a perfect example of how a logo can go beyond just branding—it can tell a story, spark emotion, and embody the heart of a business.

Tri-County Office on Aging Fundraiser Logo Refresh

This project entailed refreshing and simplifying the logo for Tri-County Office on Aging’s (TCOA) annual fundraisers while incorporating their 50th-anniversary logo. The graphic above features the previous and updated logo for their dinner and auction fundraiser. Leah of heartBOLD used gold to represent their 50th anniversary (Fun fact: Did you know each anniversary has its own color? TCOA’s next milestone will be celebrated with the enchanting emerald green at 55 years!)

The updated logo also includes the TCOA’s branding colors – purple, orange, and green – resulting in a sleek, simplified logo aligned with their current brand identity.

We were more than happy to receive a positive review after the project from TCOA saying, “Leah was incredibly helpful offering several different logos for us to choose from and being open to edits. We are excited to get an update on this material!” A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in this creative adventure.

Organizational Plan Design for Cudahy Health Department

The Cudahy Health Department sought assistance in transforming their organizational plan—a key document outlining their mission to promote health and wellness—into a visually engaging, easy-to-navigate resource.

For this project, heartBOLD took a plain, text-heavy Word document and elevated it into a branded, professionally designed format that made key information more accessible and visually appealing. The result was a polished, easy-to-review document that aligned with their mission and identity.

We were honored to receive this glowing review from the Cudahy Health Department:

“Leah was great to work with. She turned a plain Word-based report into a colorful, clean, professional-looking document. She was easy to communicate with, responsive, and timely.”

At heartBOLD, we love helping organizations present their work in a way that is both impactful and engaging. We’re proud to have supported the Cudahy Health Department in their efforts to build healthier, stronger communities and look forward to seeing their continued success!

Flyer Graphic Design for Hemisfair Conservancy

Hemisfair Conservancy needed a customized flyer to share with potential financial supporters, highlighting their free health and wellness programs. These programs not only support local health and wellness professionals but also provide San Antonians of all backgrounds the opportunity to experience the benefits of mental and physical wellness classes.

Ben from Hemisfair Conservancy provided a draft flyer and asked heartBOLD to elevate the design, making it more visually appealing and engaging. Below, you can see the before-and-after transformation—a polished, professional flyer that better communicates their mission and impact.

Ben was thrilled with the final result, sharing this fantastic feedback:

“Leah was professional and courteous. Her graphic design work was outstanding!”
